If you didn't make the meeting last week, you missed seeing Elf Robyn, correctly dressed and diligently at elfin-work urging members to get their name on the Elf Supervision Rosters.  If you haven’t put your name down for a shift - be warned - you may well find yourself on the “naughty” list!

Only 35 more sleeps until Christmas!

St John’s Rotary and Glendowie College Interact Club are combining Elf resources at Sylvia Park this Christmas Season to man the “Gold Coin Donation Christmas Gift Wrapping” booths. Based on last year's donations this fundraiser could potentially raise up to $21K.  (Click Read more for How it will Work...)
Project Elf Roll Out
St John’s members are Rostered to “supervise” the Interact gift wrappers.  The project is ambitious and to work easily will require a “shift” commitment from as many of us as possible.  Please look out for Elf Robyn (dressed appropriately) armed with a hard copy of the Rosters for you to view and add your name to.

Or click onto this link to access the PROJECT ELF ROSTERS so you can add your name to a shift or two:

Elf Supervision means:
  • watching the public
  • assisting with difficult customers
  • assisting with difficult gift wrapping
  • ensuring Interact Elves have breaks
  1. The project rolls out over 21 days (Dec 4 – Dec 24)
  2. Shifts are packaged as:  2 hours; 2½ hours, 3½ hours
  3. We have ascertained that we can have the minimum of one Supervisor Rotary Elf across 2-4 booths.
  4. Ideally, we would like to have a pair of Supervisor Rotary Elves to cover the 2-4 booths, over each shift, or more.
  5. Supervisor Elves can rotate around the four booths (if all are open) or station themselves at one (dependent on mobility).
If you need any clarification on Project Elf, or want to put your name on the Rosters, please email Robyn: ingram4@xtra.co.nz
