Many thanks to all who participated in the Food Bank Collection last Saturday and to Miles for his organisation. Everyone's support during the day made this collection another huge success with 80 boxes of much needed product, plus $110 in cash donations, collected. The St Johns Rotary Club members were joined by CAB Volunteers and of course a huge thank you to Graham Fabian and New World Stonefields for their support and participation. Hi Team
Wow what a great result, thank you St Johns Rotary – Miles and all the team. We are so happy to have your support of the food bank – it really lightens winter for the people of GI and Pt England. Pete has already restocked the shelves and we can now give more of the staples, rice, cereals, pasta and baked beans to sustain people as well as nappies! BTW the cash donation was $210 including a $20 gift card.
We really get a kick out of the support of St Johns Rotary and the broccoli and cabbages in our garden planted by you all are now ready to harvest.
