Tricia has been a member of St John’s Rotary almost six months and reports very much enjoying being part of the best little Rotary Club in the Biosphere. Tricia has worked at Sacred Heart College for 19 years, 15 of those years in her current position as Fees Manager (Finance Department). She is in charge of collecting school and boarding fees and also works closely with families in their school community who need financial assistance.
She is the proud mum of three grown up children, all living away from Auckland. Her oldest son is a Pilot and lives in Perth with his wife (also a Pilot) and their one-year old. Her daughter works as a Creative Director for an advertising company in London; and her youngest son works for Weta Digital in Wellington.
In her spare time, Tricia enjoys walking and reports walking most mornings. She has completed three Rotary Half Marathons in under three hours! She recently joined a tramping club and plans to invest in a bike so use over the summer to explore the many great bike trails on offer.
She greatly enjoys travel and told us about some of the highlights from her most recent trip, which was a 14-day tour of China and included The Great Wall, the Terracotta Warriors, the Forbidden City and a visit to a Giant Panda breeding centre.
Tricia plans to travel to Europe next year and is also looking forward to participating in more Rotary projects.
