Almost all of members are aware of community service projects carried out by our Club. The improvements and requests for new initiatives include more involvement with lower decile schools around the area and local community and youth development. This has been our focus this year and will continue to expand to include more lower decile schools within the Glen Innes/Panmure area. Projects such as Discovery for Intermediates, Have A Go Sailing Program, Music Groups and Gardens in Schools are some of the new initiatives that have and will be introduced in the new year to other schools.

On attracting new members, I am pleased to report that I will be working closely with Glendowie College to explore the setup of Interact Club at the College. We are also starting to have a good relationship with Sacred Heart College and will be working closely with both Colleges to introduce youth leadership programs (RYPEN) in 2017.

We have events lined up for 2017. Please visit the Club's website to find out more about these events.
