Nick was a Canterbury man, educated at Christchurch Boys High, first XI Cricket and rugby.  

He is a local St Heliers resident and he and his wife have two children. He is a keen sportsman and single figure handicap golfer.

Was a banker at National Bank, then overseas investment banking UBS Warburg, and more than ten years at Kiwibank. 

He has been chief executive of Southern Cross Health Insurance since 2017
