A Message From our President:

Glen Innes Foodbank hope  to reopen on Monday 11 May.  Meanwhile, they urgently need restocking and are anticipating unprecedented referral to them.

Our Club has come up with four ways to help:

1
The Club has made an immediate $1,000 donation, which New World Stonefields will use to supply a large delivery of groceries direct to them.
2
When we return to Level 1 our Club will run a Foodbank collection from New World Stonefields.
3
Members are invited to give immediate help by purchasing extra items when shopping. These groceries can then be dropped off at the home of Alex Gatt:

34 College Road, St Johns

Alex has a secure front entry where non-contact drop-off is reasonably effortless.
When Alex has a good number of items, these will be delivered to the Foodbank.

Some members have expressed the wish to donate money for New World to supply more groceries.  If you would prefer to donate to Foodbank this way, please use the link below to email Alex.  Suggested amount is our usual breakfast charge of $25.  The donation will be charged to your Rotary account, totalled and forwarded to New World. To donate this way, please click here:

Alex is very happy to continue to receive grocery items which once accumulated, will be delivered to the Foodbank.  They would appreciate these items please:

Tinned goods (Spaghetti, Baked Beans, Fish, Corn, Fruit)
Spreads (Peanut Butter, Jam, Vegemite, Marmite)
Powdered Milk
Bars of Soap
Washing machine soap powder
Toilet paper (but don't buy out the shop)

Foodbank do not need: nut bars, flour, bread, rice (these items are already donated by bulk suppliers) or anything perishable.

Huge thanks to New World Stonefields and to our members who are so keen to assist our neighbourhood Foodbank at this challenging time.

Warm regards

Robyn Ingram - President
